Step aside, Isla Nublar, Singapore’s where the dinos are at. To be precise, we’ll play host to these prehistoric beasts from 29th May 2025, when Jurassic World: The Experience opens at the Cloud Forest in Gardens by the Bay – just in time for the June holidays.

What to expect at Jurassic World: The Experience
Movie buffs would know that Jurassic World is one of the highest-grossing movie franchises of all time. With the latest instalment,Jurassic World Rebirth, starring Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey, hitting cinemas this July, this exhibition is like a glimpse into what it might have felt like to have been a part of that world
Iconic Jurassic World scenes from the show will be brought to life in the cool-moist climate of the Cloud Forest – the perfect conditions for many of the prehistoric plants that lived alongside and sustained dinosaurs all those ages ago.The entire experience takes around 1 hour to complete. There’s no set time limit though, so feel free to go for round 2 afterwards if you’re up for it.
Meet life-sized animatronic dinosaurs
Putting the animatronic T-Rex and 5m-tall Brachiosaurus at the Jurassic Nest Food Hall to shame are even more true-to-life models of the same dinos. The Brachiosaurus Falls at Jurassic World: The Experience is a whole, towering 3.5m taller – that’s almost 3 storeys, FYI.
You should probably also take them at their word when they say the new T-Rex is “terrifying”, and that you would have a “thrilling encounter” with it at the Tyrannosaurus Breakout. Try to remain calm and collected as it breaks the cages apart, its roars triggering the alarm system.

There’s quite literally no escaping these 2 massive creatures, and a whole host of other life-sized animatronic dinosaurs in the 13 zones of this experience. What you might miss, however, are the Composognathus, AKA Compys, which will be skulking in the lush underbrush.
Along the way, you’ll spot tyre tracks leading to a truck crashed into the trees. Inside is a Stygimoloch, who’s clearly fazed by the accident. Tread quietly to avoid startling the poor Stiggy, who is probably just as confused as you are.
It’s not every day that you get to see a boss battle between extinct dinosaurs in front of your very eyes.
Much like us humans, dinosaurs fight among themselves too, and you’ll be able to see that on full display at the bridge crossing. Witness a showdown as a pair of hungry Velociraptors target a Pteranodon nest up on the mountainside, only to be met with resistance from the Pteranodons, keen to defend their young.
Don’t worry. They won’t try to eat you – they’re vegan, after all.
You caught a glimpse of the Brachiosaurus from afar at the beginning of the trail, but now, you can see it up close as it towers over you with its freakishly long neck. Try not to strain yours as you return its friendly gaze.
The “venom” here is just water, so it’s kind of like a water playground if you think about it.
In a set-up that’s akin to an escape room, you’ll spot a pair of Dilophosaurs hiding in the dark foliage. They may be smaller in size, but fierce by surprise as they spit out “venom” the second they detect movement.
As you venture deeper into the darkness, you’ll come face-to-face with the most famous Velociraptor in the Jurassic World franchise, Blue. An instructor will be on site to share more cool facts about her species, show-and-tell style.
Interact with baby dinos in the Petting Zoo
One of the zones in Jurassic World: The Experience is a Petting Zoo, where visitors will get the chance to come face-to-face with little baby dinosaurs. They may be a bit shy at first, but will warm up to you if you listen to the staff’s instructions.
Head up to level 7 to check out the Creative Cavern, where you’ll spot futuristic pods housing the dinos’ eggs, as well as some adorable baby Skiphosoura bavaricas, a lizard-like reptile from 150 million years ago.
Cloud Forest-exclusive Evolution Walk
Thanks to the unique biosphere of the Cloud Forest, which mimics that found in the world’s Tropical Montane regions, there are more than 50 species of plants in this dome that can trace their ancestry back to the Jurassic period – AKA when dinosaurs walked the earth.
Hence, there’s no better place than here for the exclusive Evolution Walk, which takes guests through an educational journey about these plants, and those that came even before them. This walk will feature reconstructions of these ancient plants and show us how they continue to thrive today, in spite of how the world’s ecosystem has changed.
Immortalise your visit with a photo op
Take the lift to level 4 and find the path to a fun photo op. Snap some shots of you and your buddies “running away” from the dinosaurs to immortalise the visit. You’ll be given a QR code slip to purchase the picture later for $10 at the end of the trail.
Once you’re done, you can also enter the Jurassic World Gate for an elevated vantage point to get a better view of the Brachiosaurus and the other dinosaurs which you met earlier.
Get dino-themed merch at the retail store
At the end of your visit, swing by the retail store to snag some cool Jurassic World merch. The apparel here is on the pricier side, though, with T-shirts starting at $36.
Some of the ones that caught our eyes were these adorable dinosaur plushies (from $22 each) and sticker packs ($10). You’ll also find other standard merch like a mug ($15), water bottle ($20), and notebook ($18).
Step back in time at Jurassic World: The Experience
Put on your best Owen Grady and Claire Dearing hats this May, and venture into the depths of Jurassic World: The Experience, right here in Gardens by the Bay. There’s no word yet on how long this experience will run for, so put it on your agenda soon before these dinos go extinct – again.
